Min Woo is a 1.5 Korean American immigrant and a child of immigrants. Currently, she serves as the Specialist for International Student and Family Services for the Howard County Public School System. Her unique experience enables her to empathize and advocate for students and families straddling two or more cultures and languages. Min has lived on three different continents and enjoys trying new foods. Her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland is in Journalism and Political Science and her Master’s Degree is in Social and Cultural Anthropology, awarded from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. She resides in Howard County and is a proud mom to a son.
